Hani Hamza is a cinematographer, photographer, and editor based in Berlin,                                                                              
and wherever possible. Previously working between Kuwait and India,                                                                                                
his practice is rooted in a deep love for cinema — watching it, working on it, and making it.                                                                  

His graduate film Schrott, directed by Isam Karahasanovic, screened at the Sarajevo Film Festival
as part of the Bosnian Showcase. The film also received the Jury’s Award for Best Short Film at the
Berlin Independent Film Festival in 2023.

Growing up in Kuwait and originally from Thalassery, Hani was immersed in a melting pot of cultures
that continues to shape his visual language. He is open to collaborations across narrative shorts, documentaries,
brand films, music videos, and all forms of visual storytelling.
